Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee on-site construction operations, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to our high standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential construction, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to manage subcontractors and employees effectively. Responsibilities Project Oversight: Manage day-to-day job site activities, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards. Subcontractor Coordination: Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring work is completed correctly and on time. Quality Control: Inspect work throughout the construction process to ensure it meets Bailey Builds’ quality expectations. Scheduling: Work closely with the Project Manager to maintain and adjust schedules in in project management software. Material Management: Verify deliveries, track material usage, and ensure all required materials are on-site as needed. Safety Compliance: Enforce OSHA and company safety policies, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections. Problem-Solving: Address and resolve on-site issues efficiently to prevent project delays. Client & Vendor Relations: Communicate with homeowners, subcontractors, and vendors professionally to maintain strong working relationships. Daily Reporting: Log site progress, safety concerns, and subcontractor activity in project management software Qualifications 5+ years of experience in residential construction, with at least 2 years in a superintendent role. Strong knowledge of framing, MEP systems, foundation work, and finishes. Experience using project management software or other construction management software. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
