Maintenance Worker

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the overall condition of our facilities and ensuring they are safe and functional. Responsibilities - Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry work, and repairs - Conduct electrical and mechanical repairs - Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking work orders - Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and guests - Inspect facilities to identify maintenance needs - Assist in the setup of equipment for special events - Fabricate parts when needed - Provide excellent customer service to all building occupants Requirements - Proficiency in electrical and mechanical knowledge - Ability to read and interpret schematics - Experience in facilities maintenance - Knowledge of residential painting techniques - Strong communication skills in English - Ability to work independently and as part of a team Job Type: Part-time Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 28 – 32 per week Benefits: Employee discount Schedule: 4 hour shift 8 hour shift Day shift Evenings as needed Evening shift Every weekend Holidays Morning shift Nights as needed Night shift On call Rotating weekends Experience: Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: Driver's License (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Valparaiso, IN 46383 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Valparaiso, IN 46383: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
