Job Description ResponsibilitiesInspect empty trailers at the loading dock to insure they are clean and clear after loading and take appropriate action as neededMove out going products from staging area to the loading dock with forkliftWrap pallets with cellophane, secure load/pallets and make sure shipping labels are in place as neededTransport items to be shipped into the trailer with a forklift, pallet jack or by hand in the correct stop sequence, according to a predetermined loading planLocate the proper slot on the trailer for the order, set it in place and secure the load when completeInspect empty pallets for damage, stack and move pallets with pallet jack or forklift to the proper storage areaAssist Order Selectors and perform other similar duties as requested or assigned by supervisorDocument the audit results which will include daily data entry and discuss the audit results with the leadership teamCommunicate effectively with the team members with peers in various functionsMake use of quality checking methods to confirm the quality of goods supplied to the storesHandle store complaints and adjust credits to storesInventory management software office systemAdditional tasks can be added at request of managementQualificationsPrevious experience operating powered industrial equipment (i.e., forklift, pallet jacks, stock pickers, ), and OSHA Forklift Certification strongly preferredPreferably loading/unloading experienceMust be able to lift, bend, stoop, and kneelHas experience working in a grocery warehouse (preferred)Bilingual- Spanish/ English (preferred)Great communication skillsAttention to detailSkilled in counting moving goodsProven auditing experience and math skillCan work under pressureProfessionalism and organization
