We are looking for a driven, results-oriented professional who thrives on growth - someone who is energized by winning new business while continuing to expand and strengthen existing commercial relationships. This role is responsible for driving revenue through a combination of new customer acquisition and strategic account development.
The Commercial Energy Account Manager takes a proactive approach to prospecting, identifying competitive opportunities, and converting new business. Equally important, this individual builds strong, long-term relationships with existing customers, focused on deepening partnerships, delivering value, and positioning NOCO as a trusted partner over time.
The ideal candidate is highly motivated, comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, and confident engaging with decision-makers. They bring a strong sense of ownership, are disciplined in managing a pipeline, and are focused on delivering measurable results. Success in this role requires a balance of persistence, relationship-building, and the ability to clearly communicate value in a competitive marketplace.
What You Will Do
Identify, pursue, and close new commercial customer opportunities
Prospect through networking, referrals, and targeted outreach
Win business from competitors and develop new accounts
Build and manage a strong, active pipeline
Conduct meetings, present solutions, and close deals
Expand accounts by introducing additional products and services
Manage and renew customer relationships to drive long-term value
Partner with internal teams to ensure a strong customer experience
Consistently meet and exceed performance targets across new business, account growth, and retention

What You Will Need
Proven success in B2B sales (hunter + relationship management)
Strong closer who can open doors and win new business
Comfortable prospecting and building relationships from scratch
Ability to grow and retain customer relationships over time
Highly driven, competitive, and results-oriented
Motivated by performance-based compensation and growth
Experience utilizing a CRM
Experience in energy, fuels, HVAC, environmental, or related industries is helpful but not required for top performers
