About the Role:We are seeking a Technical Specialist to lead the design and development of electro-mechanical pump products, including motors, PCBA control systems, embedded software, and hydraulic pump elements. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, driving new product concepts from design through to production. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and customers across North America, Europe, and China to ensure innovative and cost-effective solutions that meet market needs.Key Responsibilities:Lead the design and development of electro-mechanical pumps, focusing on motor control, PCBA design, embedded software, and hydraulic elements.Drive new product launches from RFQ phase to production and SOP, ensuring high-quality design and cost efficiency.Collaborate with teams in sales, purchasing, product development, manufacturing, quality assurance, and production.Interface with customers to ensure alignment on requirements and grow the business in North America and Europe.Develop and maintain testing equipment, ensuring product validation through comprehensive testing and DVP&R documentation.Work on regulatory compliance including EMI/EMC, UL, and RoHS standards.Provide mentorship and training to junior engineers, promoting knowledge transfer and skill development.Participate in vendor selection and supplier development, ensuring adherence to quality and cost specifications.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.10+ years in automotive electronic hardware or mechatronic product development.Expertise in permanent magnet motors, hydraulic pump design, and motor mechatronics.Strong hands-on experience in CFD, FEA, PCBA design, embedded code generation, and motor simulation.Familiarity with automotive communication networks (CAN, LIN), software traceability, and test rig development.Experience with testing software (TI, Python, HIL/SIL) and circuit design software (Altium, Cadence, Multisim).Knowledge of AUTOSAR, ASPICE, and cybersecurity concepts (not required to be an expert, but basic understanding is necessary).Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with teams across the globe.Experience with mechanical pumps, hydraulic controls, and multi-position valve controls (smart valves).Ability to self-start, lead design teams, and deliver innovative product designs.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with supplier development, cost modeling, and IP generation.Program management skills, including launching products from RFQ to production.International collaboration experience with teams in Europe and China.What We Offer:Competitive salary and benefitsOpportunity to work on cutting-edge automotive technologiesCollaborative, global work environment with opportunities for professional growthIf you are a hands-on, design-driven technical expert looking to lead cutting-edge electro-mechanical pump product development, apply today!
