Company DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Benefits Specialist provides assistance and support for the day-to-day functions in benefits administration, projects, and processes. Position reports to the Director, Global Benefits and works closely with other members of the Benefits team.This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.What Will You Be Doing?Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including but not limited to medical, dental, life insurance, 401(k), PTO, and leave of absenceAssist associates with enrollment, eligibility, and general inquiries through the Benefits Hotline and email accountAssist associates with general HR inquiries coming into the HR InboxManage short-term disability and FMLA leaves of absence in the US, interacting with third-party administrator, internal partners (Payroll, HRBPs)Meet one-on-one with associates regarding upcoming leave of absenceSupport medical TPA eligibility file discrepancies (weekly)Assist with benefits survey data compilationAssist with voluntary Global Home Office exit communication and processingSupport the administration of Open Enrollment, including system testing and communicationsAssist with ongoing activity related to the qualified savings plan (401k), including annual audit, weekly data discrepancies, non-discrimination testing, and ongoing plan operationsPerform other projects and duties as assignedWhat Do You Need To Bring?4-year degree or related experience4+ years experience working with US benefits plansExperience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Workday preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAttention to detail, passion for quality work, and timely deliveryProven ability to handle confidential and sensitive data appropriatelyAbility to work independently and as a member of a teamOur CompanyAbercrombie & Fitch Co. is a global, digitally led omnichannel specialty retailer of apparel and accessories catering to kids through millennials with assortments curated for their specific lifestyle needs.The company operates a family of brands, including Abercrombie & Fitch, YPB, abercrombie kids, Hollister and Gilly Hicks, each sharing a commitment to offer products of enduring quality and exceptional comfort that support global customers on their journey to being and becoming who they are.
