Onboarding Specialist

We are seeking a bilingual Onboarding Specialist to join our Charlotte, NC office. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Spanish and have a strong passion for supporting new hires through a seamless onboarding process. Working closely with the HR team, this individual will play a key role in ensuring all new employees have a smooth transition into the company, aligning with our values of integrity, safety, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires on various jobsites located over the east coast, ensuring all necessary documentation, training, and company policies are completed and understood. Serve as the main point of contact for new employees during their onboarding period, offering support and assistance in both English and Spanish as needed. Utilize HRIS platforms (such as Paycom) to manage new hire documentation, employee profiles, and training materials. Conduct orientation sessions to introduce company policies, benefits, safety procedures, and company culture. Collaborate with various departments to ensure new hires have the necessary resources, equipment, and access required for their roles. Assist with HR-related inquiries and support new hires in understanding their benefits, payroll, and job expectations. Maintain accurate records of all onboarding activities and continuously look for ways to improve the onboarding experience. Support the HR team with additional administrative tasks as required. Bilingual: Fluency in both Spanish and English is required. Experience in HRIS systems: Familiarity with Paycom or other HRIS platforms is highly preferred. Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain a high level of accuracy. Construction Industry Experience: Experience within the construction or steel fabrication industry is a plus, but not required. Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English. Customer-Focused Mindset: A genuine interest in providing support to new employees and ensuring they have a positive onboarding experience. Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexible and varying responsibilities. Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using standard office software and comfortable learning new technologies and platforms.
