Java/AI Developer

About The Role: We are seeking a highly skilled AI Developer to join our client's dynamic team in New York City. This role involves building next-generation solutions for client management, deal management, and capital markets analytics. The team operates like an internal SWAT team, rapidly prototyping new ideas, tackling complex business challenges, and delivering production-ready AI-powered applications that generate measurable business value. This is a hands-on engineering position ideal for experienced developers who excel in fast-paced environments and possess the ability to take ideas from conception to deployment across the full technology stack. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to develop innovative, scalable, and enterprise-grade AI solutions that push the boundaries of current technology.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise, industry experience, and a passion for innovation. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, or equivalent practical experience. Candidates should have at least 7+ years of software engineering experience, with strong hands-on Java development skills. Experience in building full-stack enterprise applications, working with Snowflake and large-scale data environments, and developing AI-enabled, machine learning, or Generative AI applications is essential. A solid understanding of API development, system integration, cloud-native architectures, and developing scalable, production-grade solutions is also required. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are vital for success in this role.

Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deploy AI-enabled applications supporting client and deal management workflows. Build modern full-stack solutions from frontend interfaces to backend services and data platforms. Integrate generative AI, large language models (LLMs), and intelligent automation capabilities into business applications. Develop scalable APIs, microservices, and data-driven solutions to support business needs. Partner directly with business stakeholders to identify opportunities and deliver innovative solutions rapidly. Create proof-of-concepts and transform them into enterprise-grade applications ready for production deployment. Leverage Snowflake and modern data architectures to power analytics and AI experiences. Collaborate with engineering, data, and business teams to solve complex problems and optimize solutions. Drive innovation through experimentation, continuous learning, and adoption of emerging technologies.
