The Opportunity:High Flying Foods is seeking a Senior Director of Operations to lead our restaurant portfolio across Denver, Dallas, and Chicago airports. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, financial performance, company initiatives, and team development across multiple concepts in a highly dynamic airport environment.Based at Denver International Airport, you will serve as a strategic, values-driven, and hands-on leader, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture while ensuring consistent execution of brand standards and exceptional guest experiences.As we continue to evolve and grow our portfolio, this role will play a key leadership role in supporting future expansion opportunities, operational transitions, and long-term growth. What We Offer:Competitive Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 annuallyAnnual BonusFree RTD EcoPass and airport parkingFree employee meals during shiftsMedical, dental, vision, and life insuranceMedical and dependent care flexible spending accounts (FSAs)Paid Vacation: 10 days per year (accrued bi-weekly based on hours worked) Paid Sick Leave: 7 days per yearUp to 80 hours of Public Health Emergency leave (as declared)401(k) retirement plan with 5% company match Opportunities for career growth and advancement Responsibilities:Provide overall leadership and accountability for all aspects of multi-unit operations, including staffing, food quality, guest experience, financial performance, inventory, facilities, and compliance with company and airport standardsTravel regularly between markets and company HQ in Sausalito, CA (approximately 25%)Lead with collaboration and integrity, coaching and mentoring multi-level management teams while building strong leadership pipelines and a culture of accountability, engagement, and excellence.Ensure the highest level of guest service and hospitality is consistently executed across all locationsSupport future growth initiatives and operational transitions through thoughtful planning, leadership alignment, and execution supportBuild and maintain strong relationships with airport authorities, landlords, vendors, and business partnersAnalyze sales, labor, and operating reports to identify trends, opportunities, and risks; develop and execute action plans to improve performanceIdentify operational challenges, implement effective solutions, and measure outcomes to ensure continuous improvementEnforce company policies and procedures through clear, timely, and effective communicationOversee administrative and operational processes including scheduling, payroll oversight, inventory controls, and financial reviewsPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:3+ years of experience in a senior, multi-unit operations leadership role within the hospitality or restaurant industry (airport or high-volume experience strongly preferred)Proven ability to lead, develop, and retain high-performing management teamsStrong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L managementProficiency with POS systems, inventory management tools, and workforce schedulingExcellent organizational, prioritization, and delegation skills in a fast-paced environmentExceptional written and verbal communication skillsSound judgment and strong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesEntrepreneurial mindset with the ability to balance structure and flexibilityAbility to work full-time at DIA, and work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by business needsAbility to travel 25%, or as business requires Our Commitment to Equal Opportunity:We are committed to creating an inclusive and diverse workplace where all employees are treated with respect, dignity, and fairness.
