Shipping ClerkTo maintain superior customer focus, we are seeking a Shipping Clerk to join our team. This position will be responsible for the shipping of our GO Switch and Switchbox products as specified to meet order requirements and on-time delivery of those products. For the right candidate, this role can lead to other challenging opportunities in our supply chain in Louisville, or perhaps within the vast Emerson network of companies around the world!In this role, you will be responsible for:Verifies the accuracy of outgoing shipments and ordersComputes duties, tariffs, price conversions, weight, and volume of product that is exported to foreign countiesProcesses US and International paperwork for transaction completeness and accuracyEnsures that safety techniques are used in all aspects of daily work responsibilitiesReceives and reads customer order to identify item(s) to be pulledFills customers' orders in accordance with specifications on order formPackages orders using appropriate shipping containers and packagingOperates standard or automatic machines, such as electronic scales and tapes machinesIs able to work split shifts, when requiredAccurately prepares orders for shipment to include secure packaging and wrappingResponsible for accurate shipments (product and documentation)Responsible accurate reporting and on-time shipments of customer product as requiredCompletes other assignments as assigned by management or designateWho you are:You identify your values and organizational priorities and learn to expand business knowledge.
