Job Title: Junior Data EngineerLocation: Washington, DC Duration: 12-15 months (Possibilities of extension/conversion)USC/GC Considered.Highly preferring Local candidates.Overview:Quintrix is on the lookout for professionals who are open to upskill to the exciting world of Data Engineering. This opportunity is for our direct client in Banking/financial Services and includes a 4 week Instructor-led online pre-employment training program (15 hours per week), conveniently scheduled after business hours. Participants who successfully complete the program will receive a $500 stipend. This is a fantastic chance to gain in demand skills, hands-on experience, and a pathway into a dynamic tech role.Prerequisites:• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields.• Hands-on experience Python, Spark, SQL, etc.• Familiar with ETL/ELT concepts and database concepts.• Exposure to Cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure).• Knowledge of CI/CD for data engineering.• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.• Good communication and teamwork abilities.Selection Process & Training: • Online assessment and technical interview by Quintrix.• Client Interview(s).• 4 weeks of pre-employment online instructor-led training.Stipend paid during Training: • $500.Who is Quintrix?Quintrix is on a mission to help individuals develop their technology talent.
