Machine OperatorGreat company in Florence KY, family owned and global leader, seeking Machine Operator for 1st shift, four days a week Mon-Thu 6a-4p. Every Friday off!!! Temp to hire, with a global leader in the foam abrasive products industry.Starting pay is $20.00-21.00/hr depending on experience and has good benefits when hired on! Company provided lunches on Thursdays!Responsibilities:Full Line Operation: Responsible for feeding the machine with its feedstock and monitoring the end to end process to ensure proper outputs and efficiency in production.Process Interruption: Halt production lines if defects are detected and notify supervisors or engineers to prevent further waste. Learn how to correct production line when things begin to get out of spec.Teamwork with Machine Operators: Working in pairs with a Visual Inspector and operations management to train you. Seeking mechanically inclined person with good experience previously running a machine.Requirements/Qualifications:Physical & Visual Stamina: Must possess excellent color vision, depth perception, and the ability to distinguish small defects. Must be able to be on your feet the whole shift performing inspections at the end of the production line.Ability to Monitoring Multiple Parts of the Process: Monitor temperature of gluing system as well as production flow and speed.Attention to Detail: Meticulous eye for spotting subtle flaws and inconsistencies that fall outside acceptable quality thresholds.Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED equivalent is typically required, alongside 2-4 years of machine operations experienceCompensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $20.00 - $21.00 Per Hour
