DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Assists in preparation and serving of lunch and breakfast in accordance with SFSP Regulations. Assists in kitchen clean up and proper storage of food. Be aware of safety procedures. Be aware of general health of campers. Report any medical problems or incidents to Camp Cook, Camp Nurse or Manager of Community Services. Any other duties as assigned by Manager of Community Services. Each employee has the responsibility to: Be familiar with all policies of the Arc of Genesee Orleans. Be sensitive to any situation that could lead him/herself or others to engage in actions that would violate said policies. Report any violations or suspected violations of Arc of Genesee Orleans policies promptly. Attend all required compliance training. Failure to comply with these policies or to report information regarding suspected improper conduct will result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment, as appropriate. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:Must be familiar with kitchen setting. Must also have a valid NYS Drivers License. Previous kitchen experience preferred. Experience with children with or without developmental disabilities is preferred. Working conditions: Camp environment, partially indoors/outdoors. Kitchen setting.
