Plant Manager

Our client is a Tier One Automotive manufacturer.Job duties:In charge of daily operations.Represents the customer in the facility and ensures customers’ satisfactionIn charge of financial performance and results to budgetEnsures compliance of to all applicable laws and regulations, as well as fulfillment of all legal and tax obligationsDevelops and presents the annual budgetControls expenses and investments as per the annual budget and adjust expenses when needed to achieve the targeted annual profitOrganizes management system and reviews according to group principlesEnsures compliance of personnel to applicable corporate procedures and policiesIssues reports for reconciliation review and other per corporate and USMCA requirementsTo make recommendations and decisions relating to equipment, product and the operational efficiency to management.Has hiring, discipline, and termination authority of managers and direct reports within his/her Delegation of Authority and in coordination with HR.Respect the production standards for Quality, Safety, and Environment. Inform or report any malfunction that may impact on the product, the environment, and/or the safety of the personnel. Adhere and implement everything in its power to achieve the Quality, Safety, and Environment objectives, and reduce the environmental impact.Review and improve team and operational efficiency.Ensures that team members are properly trained and competent in their respective roles.Responsible for the quality of final products and ultimately, customer satisfactionKnows and follows the requirements of the system of the management of qualityIndividual is accountable for reviewing and improving team and operational efficiency.Accountable for ensuring compliance with all applicable plant, human resources, safety and quality procedures.To strictly adhere to Company Safety and other policies as documented in Employee HandbookAdhere to and implement everything in his/her power to achieve the Quality, Safety, and Environmental objectives and reduce the environmental impacts.Maintain project plans, including product and equipment requirements and budgetsAnalyze functional test data and propose potential failure modes to teamMethodical, capable of analyzing technical problems and providing a concise written summary to managementEnsures that Quality, Safety, and Environment are top concerns for every employee and managerEducation and/or Experience:Bachelor’s degree (4 Year Degree) in Engineering (Industrial, Electrical or Mechanical) or Business Management or applicable field with validated applicable work experience.ERP or MRP systems experienceTen years of related work experience with 5 years of work experience minimum in the automotive industryMinimum of 5 years’ experience in similar leadership positionSpecial knowledge (languages, IT, etc.):Communication/negotiation/meeting facilitationFluent in business English, IT literate (Microsoft platforms)French language skills a bonusSupplemental Requirements for Advancement:Additional training in supervision, coaching, and employee motivationLean Manufacturing, Project Management, and/or Lean Six Sigma
