Data Migration Specialist

A company is looking for a Data Migration Specialist to support the Department of Homeland Security in migrating complex data sets from SharePoint to a Drupal-based platform. Key Responsibilities Design and execute data migration strategies for SharePoint content into Drupal-based systems Develop and maintain automated migration scripts and ETL processes for data extraction and transformation Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure the accuracy and integrity of migrated data Required Qualifications Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in software engineering, data engineering, or enterprise platform migration Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field Strong experience performing enterprise data migrations from SharePoint environments Experience with data transformation and scripting using tools such as PowerShell, SQL, or Python Familiarity with migration tooling such as ShareGate, Metalogix, or DocAve
