Job DescriptionFamily Medicine Residency Spokane is seeking a full-time, board-certified Family Medicine physician for a faculty position. Family Medicine Residency Spokane was established in 1972 as a flagship Family Medicine Residency program affiliated with the University of Washington School of Medicine. Home to the first OB Fellowship in the country, the program educates 6 core residents and two rural-track residents a year in a state-of-the-art teaching health clinic. Physicians in this program collaborate strongly with the Internal Medicine and Psychiatry Residencies in a patient-centered, medical-home model at the Spokane Teaching Health Clinic (STHC). The sponsoring institutions are a consortium between Washington State University, Empire Health Foundation and Providence Health & Services. Duties would capitalize on your talent and passion in the following capacities:Supervision and instruction of resident physicians in the STHC ambulatory setting and obstetrical floor or inpatient hospital serviceAbbreviated direct patient care in the STHC and/or Maternity ClinicCall while staffing the Family Medicine hospital service and/or obstetrical serviceAdvising resident physiciansDelivering didactic lectures, workshops and informal educational presentationsCurricular and programmatic oversightA variety of administrative dutiesCompensation is between $222,757 to $308,426 per yearThe compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position.
