Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

With 15 beds in the department, the facility maintains a supportive environment for both patients and providers while delivering quality women's healthcare services.Opportunity: Physician - Obstetrics and GynecologyJob Details: ASAP - ONGOING• 7-on/7-off schedule preferred with ongoing opportunities into the year• Average of 10 patient encounters per shift• Must be board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology• Manage low risk pregnancies and perform routine deliveries including vaginal and low forceps• Handle complicated deliveries including C-sections, breech, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs• Perform decision-making for C-sections as required• Conduct OB ultrasounds (Level I/Screening and Level II/Targeted) with performance and interpretation capabilities• Perform amniocentesis procedures and repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations• Provide office/minor gynecology services including IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.• Perform surgical gynecology including open procedures and laparoscopic diagnostic/minor procedures• Handle operative/major procedures including ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's• Must have active North Carolina medical license (no IMLC accepted)• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALSCompensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
