Collaboration with stakeholders across Engineering, Product, Analytics, Finance, and Operations is central to designing and executing programs that ensure data infrastructure, pipelines, and insights are robust, scalable, and business-critical. There is a direct impact on how data is generated, governed, and utilized to drive smarter decisions across the software ecosystem. This includes powering advanced analytics, reporting, data science models, and operational efficiency.The ideal candidate is a systems thinker who thrives on aligning people, processes, and platforms in service of high-quality data outcomes. Comfort in switching between discussing data lineage and ETL pipeline orchestration with engineering, and exploring KPI definitions and reporting needs with business stakeholders is expected. A bias for action, an eye for root-cause resolution, and a passion for optimizing how data flows through an organization are essential. This role reports to the Sr Director, Data Engineering.What you’ll do:Program Delivery: Lead and manage complex cross-functional data programs from concept through execution. Ensure timely delivery of data pipelines, platform enhancements, and analytics tools. Anticipate delivery risks, resolve blockers, and make strategic trade-offs in alignment with business needs.Stakeholder Management: Drive alignment and collaboration across technical and non-technical teams. Navigate competing priorities and influence without authority to ensure business value is delivered.Data Program Governance: Establish repeatable processes for defining scope, managing dependencies, tracking delivery metrics, and maintaining quality across data programs. Champion data documentation, testing rigor, and observability as part of execution.Communication & Reporting: Regularly communicate program status, risks, and outcomes to executive stakeholders. Translate complex data initiatives into clear, business-relevant updates.Continuous Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in data program execution and operational workflows. Drive initiatives to improve data quality, platform reliability, and delivery velocity.Additional duties and responsibilities as necessary.What you’ll bring to the table:3 to 5 years of experience in technical program management, preferably within data or analytics teams.8 or more years of total experience in technical or analytical environments.Solid executive presence and confidence in high-stakes environments.Deep understanding of data platforms, pipelines, and data governance practices.Familiarity with modern data stacks (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Snowflake, dbt, Power BI).Ability to manage the full lifecycle of cross-functional data initiatives.Excellent organizational and coordination skills with a laser focus on outcomes.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrated ability to influence teams without direct authority.Skilled at balancing multiple projects and priorities under tight deadlines.Technical degree.PMP or equivalent project management certification.CSM or equivalent Agile certification.Experience using Azure DevOps or similar tools for planning and execution.DisclaimerRemoteHunter isn’t the EOR (Employer of Record) for this position.
