Job Title: Datacenter Field Operations TechnicianJob Location: New Albany, Ohio(Onsite)Type of Hire : Contract role Experience2+ years of experience in data center cabling, network hardware installation, or telecommunicationsHands-on experience with fiber optic installation and testing in enterprise/hyperscale environmentsExperience with large-scale rack deployment projects (50+ racks)Familiarity with data center environments (hot/cold aisle, raised floor, overhead cable tray)Experience working with liquid-cooled rack systems (AALC) preferredExperience with barcode scanning and asset management workflows preferredPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift 50+ lbs repeatedlyComfortable working at height (personnel lifts, ladders) and in confined spaces, hot aisles, and active electrical environments with appropriate PPEAbility to work in warm environments (data halls, 75–85°F)Standing/walking for 10–12 hour shiftsFine motor skills for connector cleaning and optics handlingAbility to wear required PPE for extended periodsShift & Work ModelLocation: New Albany, Ohio – 100% OnsiteShift: 24/7 coverage with 3 possible shifts:Day: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM ETSwing: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM ETNight/Graveyard: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM ETSchedule: 5 days on / 2 days offHours: 40 hours per weekShift Differential: Additional pay may apply for Swing & Night shiftsOn-Call: May be required to support emergency situations outside scheduled hours on a rotating basis
