Job DescriptionNOTICE OF FILING OF APPLICATION UNDER THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF LABOR’SPERMANENT LABOR CERTIFICATION PROGRAMAn application concerning the employment of one or more alien workers for the following permanent position will be filed with the Department of Labor. PAY RATE: $39,105.00 per annumPOSITION DUTIES: Job requires LPN to ensure health and welfare of patients under care are well maintained at all times; Administer all medications according to physician’s order and Department of Intellectual Development and Disabilities Services (DIDD) medication administration guidelines; LPN must provide all skilled nursing treatments as ordered by patient’s physicians such as wound care, respiratory treatments, catheterization, etc.; LPN must administer treatment according to the Physician’s orders or as directed in the MAR. Accompany assigned patients to all physician’s visits and discuss the patient’s needed medical treatments, medications, or any medical concerns with the physician; Record all patient’s health-related findings in the agency’s nurse’s logs daily; Communicate to physicians and agency administration all health-related issues regarding patients assigned to you care; Review and maintain all physician orders in the patient’s chart.; Communicate any and all care related information to the incoming nurse; Ensure a well detailed update report is documented and passed to the incoming nurse; Complete medication variance form whenever you make any medication error and send to the Medication Coordinator no later than the next day following incident. Attend all in-services and staff meetings as directed by your immediate supervisor. Report concerns, client abuse, neglect and mistreatment immediately and according to our agency’s reporting protocol; Complete or assist with Individual’s meal preparations, patient’s self-care, hygiene and all needed medical assistance that the patient may need; Assist with medical quality assessments of patients assigned to your care upon request. Ensure that medication variance form is fully completed whenever medication errors are encountered; and LPN must report to the supervising RN.POSITION REQUIREMENTS: This position requires an earned registered nursing license from Tennessee.
