Key Account Director IL- EXPANSION - Rheumatology

Their mission is to enhance patient access to high-quality medications while fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.About the Role:Reporting to the Area Director, the Rheumatology Key Account Director (RKAD) is responsible for the strategic engagement with Integrated Delivery Systems (IDNs), health systems, large group practices, Infusion Centers and high-volume HCPs in the IL area selling a portfolio of Rheumatology and Bone Health products. The RKAD is responsible for driving the launch, adoption, and selling of the assigned portfolio of Biosimilars in Rheumatology and Bone Health products. This role is pivotal in executing market access strategies, fostering provider relationships, ensuring successful product launches and driving pull through within the assigned territory. Other responsibilities include analysis of sales data to identify opportunities for business growth in the assigned territory.This Territory is called IL and covers all of IL.ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning and ExecutionDeliver plans and achieve sales goals on budget.Develop and implement comprehensive business plans tailored to key accounts and align with national objectives/local market dynamics.Identify, prioritize and leverage opportunities within IDNs, large health systems, Infusion Centers to maximize biosimilar uptake.Identify opportunities and strategies to improve the positioning of Celltrion USA products at a local level.Stakeholder EngagementEstablish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, including formulary committees, pharmacy directors, and clinical leaders.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. Medical Affairs, Market Access, Marketing) to deliver cohesive value propositions.Collaborate with Market Access & ContractingWith Market Access, engage in negotiations and manage contracts within key accounts to ensure favorable terms that support adoption.Monitor and address reimbursement challenges working closely with internal teams.Engage HCPs in dialogue about approved indications, product efficacy/safety profiles, and treatment protocols to support on-label prescribing for appropriate patients.Data Analysis and ReportingAnalyze trends, competitive landscape, and account performance.Provide regular reports on key account metrics.Collaborate with field salesforce as needed for pull-through.QualificationsMinimum of 10 years of experience in Pharma/Biotech with a minimum of 5 years working with IDNs and large systems within this market.Pre-launch, launch, and post-launch of products required, preferably in Oncology.Preferred knowledge and experience in biologics, biosimilars, and the full life cycle of product launch and post-launch. If no experience in Biologics/Biosimilars, buy and bill experience is required.Solid business acumen, including the ability to access and interpret company-provided territory data to incorporate into call planning and execution.Both a team player and individual contributor.Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, and visual communication and presentation skills.Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly by directing the team effectively.Business owner entrepreneurial mindsetEducationBachelor’s Degree required; advanced degrees, MBA, MS in business or related field is a plus.Required SkillsCommunication - clear, concise, and ability to motivate; ability to articulate about the company and products.Knowledge - understanding of product portfolio.Collaboration - ability to communicate across functions and at all levels in the organization.Compliance - understands industry regulations to maintain compliance.Agility/ Nimbleness - an ability to be adaptive and responsive to changing conditions in order to seize opportunities and overcome challenges.Compensation details will be discussed during the interview process but it is extremely competitive and includes a sizable base salary, above industry annual target IC paid quarterly, car allowance, all medical, vision, dental and a generous 401K.Equal Opportunity StatementMy Client is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusivity in the workplace.
