We’re looking for a Commercial Counsel who sees legal as a growth engine!What You’ll OwnClose DealsDraft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, with a primary focus on GTM/Sales transactions including enterprise customer contracts, MSA’s, Service agreements, securityPartner closely with Sales, Deal Desk, Customer Success, and Partnerships to accelerate deal execution and revenue growthShorten procurement cycles without compromising smart risk boundariesSupport expansions, renewals, and strategic customer negotiationsStructure AI-related risk allocation clearly and practicallyBuild the Commercial EngineCreate scalable templates and fallback positionsIdentify patterns in redlines and proactively refine contract strategyDesign approval workflows that match our sales velocityTrack and improve legal-related deal metricsPartner on audits and diligence requestsStay current on legal developments affecting AI technologiesWhat We’re Looking ForA law degree from an accredited law school4+ years of SaaS commercial contracting experienceTransactional background, including with SaaS, technology, and/or IP licensing and commercial agreements, and/or M&A transactionsStrong enterprise negotiation experienceHigh business judgment — you know when to push and when to flexComfort operating in ambiguity and high-growth environmentsBonus points:Experience at a high-growth SaaS or AI companyFamiliarity with enterprise security frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001)Experience supporting international salesWhat Success Looks LikeEnterprise deals move fasterLegal is viewed as a strategic revenue partnerContract friction decreases over timeRisk is calibrated, not avoidedCompensation is based on experience USD $200k-$260K plus equity.
