Portfolio Analytics Associate

Portfolio Analytics Associate | Alternative Investments Firm | Hybrid Salt Lake City The firm is seeking a Portfolio Analytics Associate to join its Data Solutions team. This role will support financial software applications, assist clients with technical and operational issues, participate in special projects, and contribute to ongoing process improvements within a fast-growing organization. The position offers a blend of finance, operations, client service, and technology exposure.Responsibilities• Analyze and explain portfolio performance results• Conduct account reconciliations and resolve breaks, cancels, and corrections• Review private equity and hedge fund statements for system input and reporting• Partner with clients and internal teams to resolve data and operational issues• Support client onboarding, account setup, training, and ongoing relationship management• Assist with software configuration, financial account setup, and asset classification• Help manage data feeds and custom reporting requests• Coordinate with external vendors regarding system enhancements and data issues• Support operational improvements, policies, procedures, and internal controls• Collaborate across teams to ensure projects are completed accurately and on timeCompany Requirements:• 1–5 years of relevant experience within financial services, fintech, operations, or client services• Bachelor’s degree required• Strong understanding of financial instruments and investment products• Experience working with RIAs, wealth management firms, custodians, or financial advisors preferred• Exposure to portfolio accounting, reconciliation, or performance reporting processes• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills• Comfortable learning new systems, software platforms, and financial technology tools
