Patient Service Representative
Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is working with our client in Knoxville, TN to hire a Perinatal Patient Service Representative for their office. This is an in-person/on-site position.Responsibilities Include:Maintain established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program and safety standards.Schedule patient visits with providers following established procedures and protocolsObtain patient social demographic and medical complaint information necessary to schedule patients with appropriate providersAnswer all telephone calls and route accordinglyComplete registration process to include obtaining accurate reason for visit, current demographic information, and verification of insurance coveragePrepare patient chart and encounter form, and obtain necessary authorizations as required for billing and/or medical treatmentReceive and record changes in patient information.Demonstrate familiarity with insurance procedures; demonstrate knowledge of which plan the provider(s) participateAssists in filing medical records as requested or neededRequirements Include:HS Diploma or GEDCustomer facing customer service experience - medical office preferredStrong communication skillsWhy work for Adecco?• Weekly Pay• 401(k) Plan• Skills Training• Excellent medical, dental, and vision benefitsPay Details: $16.00 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
