This isn’t just a job, it's a chance to lead change, drive progress, and leave a lasting legacy.In the role of Water Resources EIT/Coordinator, we'll count on you to:Work under project engineers on the application of various design engineering and modeling techniques in the development of water resource projects for federal, state and local municipalitiesFocus on hydraulics and hydrology modeling, stormwater collection systems modeling, data collection, assimilation, and presentationsFocus on projects including flood control, river design, stream grade control structures, dike systems, levees, stream channel restoration/rehabilitation, wetland and lake restoration, watershed issues and non-point source loading and point source design.Produce design calculations, draft technical reports and perform water resources studiesPerform other duties as neededPreferred QualificationsEngineer in Training (EIT) certificateCandidates without their EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progressionExperience with HEC-1, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, GEO-RAS, storm drain system analysisRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent fieldExperienced with Microsoft Office Suite, standard CAD platforms such as AutoCAD, and hydraulic modeling softwareSelf-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of task An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
