Manufacturing Manager

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead flagship operations at a medium-sized, 24x7, non-union chemical processing facility. This role is responsible for driving production performance, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering a strong safety-first culture.Key Responsibilities:Lead daily manufacturing operations to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are metManage and develop a team of supervisors and production personnel, with 8 direct reports and up to 60 indirect reportsDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize processesContinue to encourage and enforce Process Safety as daily cultureOversee production planning, scheduling, and resource allocationPartner with engineering, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve operational issues and improve plant performanceMonitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to meet performance targetsEnsure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standardsSupport capital projects and process optimization effortsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree required; strong preference for Chemical Engineering or a related engineering disciplineMinimum of 8 years of manufacturing experience, with at least 3 years in a Manufacturing Manager roleStrong preference for polyurethane manufacturing experience and / or extrusion manufacturing experienceDemonstrated success leading teams in a medium-sized plant environmentStrong knowledge of process safety management (PSM) principlesProven ability to drive continuous improvement and operational excellenceExcellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsCompensation & Benefits:Competitive base salary: $145,000 – $165,000Bonus potential up to 20%Comprehensive benefits packageRelocation package availableWhy Join:This is an opportunity to make a significant impact in a growing operation where leadership, safety, and continuous improvement are highly valued.
