RF Drive Test Engineer
*Roles & Responsibilities*
* Conduct on-field drive tests to collect RF signal data across various geographic locations, ensuring thorough coverage analysis.
* Utilize diagnostic tools and electronic testing equipment to measure signal strength, quality, and interference levels.
* Analyze test data to identify network issues such as coverage gaps, interference sources, or equipment malfunctions.
* Perform root cause analysis on network problems by interpreting electrical schematics, circuit boards, and system logs.
* Collaborate with engineering teams to develop solutions for RF performance improvements using scripting languages like Python or CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
* Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components of testing equipment, including circuit boards, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and electro-mechanical systems.
* Assist in the maintenance, repair, and calibration of testing tools and electronic systems to ensure accuracy during field operations.
* Document test procedures, results, and troubleshooting steps clearly using schematic diagrams and technical schematics for future reference.
* Support project scheduling efforts by coordinating test activities within project timelines while adhering to safety standards like NEC (National Electrical Code).
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on equipment performance and testing methodologies.
Pay: $3,500.00 per month
