This role requires strong hands‐on experience in front‐end SoC design, with working knowledge of the full RTL‐to‐GDSII flow. The engineer will collaborate closely with architecture, verification, and physical design teams to ensure successful design convergence.Your RoleContribute to full‐chip SoC design for multi‐million gate designsPerform digital design and RTL development based on architectural specificationsWork closely with architects to understand system architecture and micro‐architectureSupport the design convergence cycle, including synthesis, timing closure, and verificationManage and integrate internal and third‐party IP blocksTrack and execute front‐end design deliverables and milestonesCollaborate with verification and physical design teams to resolve design issuesReview and provide input on top‐level verification plansInterface with manufacturing, test, and VCA partners as requiredSupport silicon brings‐up by debugging design‐related issuesYour skills and experience10+ years of hands‐on experience in ASIC / SoC designStrong experience developing RTL from specificationsSolid understanding of SoC integration and front‐end design flowsGood working knowledge of bus protocols such as AMBA AHB and AXIFamiliarity with common peripherals (e.g., USB, SD/MMC)Experience with Synopsys Design Compiler for RTL synthesisWorking knowledge of formal equivalence checking (e.g., Cadence LEC)Strong understanding of timing constraints and timing closure conceptsAbility to debug design issues at block and SoC levelsGood problem‐solving skills and ability to make sound decisions with limited informationPreferred / Added AdvantagesExperience with memory controller design or microprocessor‐based systemsExposure to chip I/O design and packaging conceptsBasic understanding of physical design interactions and sign‐off requirementsPrior experience in automotive or consumer SoC programsThe base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $97,700 to $203,800 per year.Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting.
