Average 80 patients per day, 100+ winter surge volume. Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Type of equipment : GE Optima CT scanner, GE portable x-ray Documentation system: Meditech, Sectra Scheduling requirements: varies, 36 hours, weekends/holiday rotate, no on-call Floating policy: not required Patient Experience requirements: Our patients are our priority. We care like family! Requested Skill Set: Ability to work independently and cover both CT and X-ray. Often single staff coverage for both modalities. Professional, friendly and good communications skills. Must have: 2 years recent CT tech hospital experience, Ability to work independently and cover both CT and X-ray. Often single staff coverage for both modalities. Professional, friendly and good communications skills. Advanced skills needed: Acute Stroke Ready. Moderate pediatric volume. Procedures performed on unit: Normal ER procedures. No surgical procedures or biopsies. Certifications Required: CPR, ARRT, ARRT-CT Application and testing from agency required to be submitted.
