General Summary The Instructional Content Designer leverages expertise in instructional design, content development, and writing to create engaging digital learning experiences. This role collaborates closely with Learning and Customer Operations partners to design and deliver effective digital curriculums. Core competencies include stakeholder consultation, identification of appropriate learning strategies, curriculum and content development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of digital learning solutions. Principle Duties And Responsibilities Design and develop instructional content including storyboarding, learning materials, etc. Conduct needs assessments and analyze learner requirements to create tailored learning experiences. Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance. Consult with stakeholders to offer expert advice on instructional design and solutions. Utilize various instructional design models and methodologies to create effective learning solutions. Manage projects efficiently, demonstrating strong organizational skills to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results. Develop assessments and evaluations to measure learner competency and the effectiveness of learning programs. Continuously improve and update existing learning content based on feedback and performance data. Responsible for facilitating in-person training for employees at all levels, as needed. Job Specifications Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field preferred or equivalent relevant business experience. Minimum 3-5 years (combined) business functional experience. Demonstrated skill/competence in instructional design and development. Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design models, content development, continuous improvement, and knowledge management. Strong project management skills and attention to detail. Strong presentation skills, comfortable facilitating meetings, review sessions, and providing status updates to business partners. Strong consultation/negotiation skills with the ability to form strong relationships to influence and guide stakeholders effectively. Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and multiple priorities. Demonstrated ability to work effectively independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, rapidly changing business and technical environment. Naturally curious, comfortable with ambiguity and willing to change the status quo. Understands company business strategy, goals, and responsibilities to shareholders. Ability to adhere to a hybrid working schedule as outlined by company policy.
