Proposal Writer
Position OverviewWe’re looking for a Proposal Writer with strong project management capabilities to lead the preparation of competitive, high-quality proposals for government contracts. This role requires someone who can manage the full proposal lifecycle, from initial planning to final submission, while producing clear, persuasive content that aligns with technical, contractual, and strategic requirements.The ideal candidate is a skilled writer with a proven track record in government proposal development. Familiarity with geomatics, geospatial services, or surveying is highly preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the development of proposals from start to finish, including scheduling, coordination, content development, and quality control.Write and edit proposal sections such as executive summaries, technical approaches, and past performance, tailored to solicitation requirements.Interpret RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs to create compliance checklists, response outlines, and content plans.Coordinate inputs from subject matter experts, technical staff, and leadership.Lead internal proposal meetings, manage version control, and track deadlines.Ensure that final proposals are complete, compliant, and professionally presented.Maintain a library of proposal templates, past submissions, and reusable content.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree.Minimum of 3 years’ experience writing and managing proposals for foreign government clients.Strong project management skills, with experience coordinating multiple contributors and meeting tight deadlines.Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.Solid understanding of government procurement and proposal development processes.Preferred QualificationsExperience in the geomatics, geospatial, surveying, or related technical industries.Familiarity with geospatial technologies and terminology (e.g., GIS, LiDAR, remote sensing).Experience working on multidisciplinary proposals, including with subcontractors or partners.
