Senior Electronics TechnicianParks Medical Electronics Inc. Location: Aloha, OR Employment Type: Full-time, Onsite, Monday through FridayPosition SummaryThe Senior Electronics Technician is a key technical contributor responsible for independently building, modifying, testing, and troubleshooting complex analog, digital, mixed-signal, RF, and Doppler ultrasound electronic assemblies. This role partners closely with engineering to improve product reliability and manufacturability in a regulated medical device environment.Key ResponsibilitiesIndependently build, solder, modify, and rework complex analog and digital PCBs, including fine-pitch surface-mount componentsPerform advanced PCB-level and system-level debugging of analog, digital, power, mixed-signal, and RF circuitsLead troubleshooting efforts for Doppler ultrasound and RF assemblies, including transmit/receive and signal conditioning stagesSupport prototype development, engineering changes (ECOs), and design validation testingDiagnose complex failures and perform root-cause analysis on returned or nonconforming productsEvaluate and help mitigate EMI/EMC issues through grounding, shielding, filtering, and design feedbackServe as a technical resource and mentor to junior techniciansSupport calibration, verification, and regulatory testing activitiesReview and improve test methods, assembly processes, and repair proceduresEnsure strict adherence to ESD controls, quality system requirements, and safety standardsCollaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and service teams on continuous improvement initiativesMaintain detailed technical documentation in compliance with FDA/ISO requirementsRequired QualificationsAssociate degree or higher in Electronics Technology or equivalent experience5+ years of hands-on electronics technician experienceStrong mastery of analog, digital, mixed-signal, and RF electronicsProven experience debugging complex PCBs and electronic systemsProficient with advanced test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, etc.)Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisionsPreferred QualificationsDirect experience with Doppler ultrasound systems or medical electronicsStrong background in EMI/EMC troubleshooting and mitigationExperience in an FDA-regulated or ISO 13485 environmentIPCA610 and/or IPC7711/7721 certificationsExperience supporting both R&D and production hardwareIdeal Candidate TraitsHighly detail-oriented with strong analytical skillsMethodical problem solver who thrives in complex technical environmentsSelf-directed with strong documentation habitsCollaborative mentor and technical leaderJ-18808-Ljbffr
