Penn MachineryHIRING IMMEDIATELYField Service SupervisorPoughkeepsie, NYPay:$78,000 - $100,000/year (dependent on relevant experience)Bonus: 15% bonus potentialBenefits:Medical/dental/vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off & HolidaysCompany-provided cell phone and laptopKey qualifications:Minimum 2 years management experience in directing labor, will consider equivalent combination of degree and work experienceStrong computer skills and comfortable with technology to manage service communications and related business processesStrong communication & organization skillsStrong mechanical aptitudeExperience with troubleshooting and repair of construction equipmentPossess a valid driver's licenseResponsibilities:Successfully deliver and sell service of recognized superior value by providing necessary key resources (people, tooling, materials, equipment, and time)Effectively communicate with all stakeholders on work to be performed, changes required in scope of work, job status, etc.Assure repairs are completed in a timely fashion by providing accurate job information, parts, tooling, supplies, etc.Assure repairs are completed in a timely fashion by effectively troubleshooting and diagnosing machine problems with techniciansMaximize technician utilization by effectively scheduling, planning and assigning workMaximize the effective and efficient use of the service processes to provide fast and accurate service and minimize unnecessary expenseReview and approve daily timecards to track and monitor technician performance against quoted hours or job standards and manage accordinglyAdvise Service Manager of changes in available work vs. staffing levelsContinually review and improve processesProcess jobs to be billed on a daily basisA culture that focuses on safety and safe work habitsBe an active part in the continuous improvement of H.O.
