Engine BuilderA leading motorsports organization is seeking a skilled Engine Builder to join its high-performance team in Santa Clarita. This hands-on role involves rebuilding, inspecting, and maintaining race engines with a strong focus on quality control, documentation, and shop upkeep.Key Responsibilities:Perform full engine rebuilds including teardown, cleaning, inspection, measurement, sub-assembly, and final fittingTrack engine and component mileage; maintain detailed engine history and evaluate conditionTroubleshoot engine and performance issues; recommend and document countermeasuresGenerate technical and summary reports; develop and refine engine build proceduresDocument build issues and evaluate assembly processes for consistency and qualityMaintain shop cleanliness including washroom and grinding roomManage engine carts, dollies, tools, and consumables inventorySort and dispose of stock parts, chassis, and project materialsPerform precision tasks such as honing valve guides and polishing valve facesQualifications:Minimum 5 years of professional experience in high-performance engine building or certified dealership technician work (automotive or motorcycle)Strong understanding of fuel injection systems; electric/hybrid engine experience highly preferredProficient in data entry, report tracking, and database maintenanceComfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Detail-oriented with strong documentation and organizational skillsAbility to perform repetitive precision tasks with consistency and careApply now to join a team where engineering excellence and racing performance go hand in hand.
