You are part of a collaborative, cross-functional team dedicated to delivering the most innovative, user-centric UPF 50+ clothing and products, empowering people to live active, outdoor lives with confidence and safety in the sun.Job SummaryWe are looking for a Product Developer to drive the execution of our product development process from concept through production.This role is responsible for managing development timelines, vendor communication, and sample execution, ensuring all products are delivered on time, meet quality standards, and align with design intent.You'll play a critical role in keeping development moving—working closely with Design, Merchandising, and the Product Technical Developer to bring products to market efficiently and successfully.This is a full time position based at Coolibar's headquarters in Miami, FL. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and drive the end-to-end product development process from design handoff through production readiness across all styles and categoriesManage and maintain development timelines, ensuring all milestones (proto, SMS, PPS) are delivered on timeAct as the primary point of contact for vendors, leading daily communication and ensuring clear alignment on expectations, timelines, and deliverablesTrack all sample stages, proactively follow up on submits, and ensure on-time and accurate sample deliveryLead the execution of development comments, revisions, and approvals, ensuring feedback is clearly communicated and properly implementedPrepare for and support fit sessions, ensuring correct samples are available and all feedback is captured and communicated effectivelyPartner closely with Design to ensure product intent is maintained throughout developmentAlign with Merchandising on priorities, key styles, and delivery timelinesCollaborate with the Product Technical Developer to ensure all products are technically sound and ready for approvalSupport BOM setup and updates in PLM (Centric) and ensure all development activity is properly documentedMaintain clear visibility of development status through trackers and systems, ensuring cross-functional alignment at all timesIdentify risks related to timeline, cost, or quality early, and proactively drive solutionsEnsure a smooth and clean handoff to Production, with all approvals, comments, and documentation finalizedQualificationsBachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Product Development or related field3–6+ years of experience in apparel product developmentStrong experience working with international vendorsSolid understanding of garment construction and development lifecycleExperience with PLM systems (Centric preferred)Strong organizational and time management skillsExcellent communication and follow-up skillsAbility to manage multiple styles and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
