CTG is seeking to fill a Mechanical Planner opening for a client in Baytown, Texas.Location: Baytown, TXDuration: 12 monthsResponsibilitiesPlan non-emergency maintenance jobs (Planned, Next Opportunity and PM work) to the appropriate details including man-hour and cost estimates, material requirements, access needs, etc.Create job plans for repairs/replacement of instrumentation and electrical control systems and all related electrical equipment in areas of responsibilityCreate and maintain maintenance/PM plans for Meridium generated calibrationsCreate and maintain maintenance/PM plans for Meridium generated safety inspectionCreate and maintain task lists for repetitive jobsCreate and maintain Bills of MaterialOutline detailed work instructions for work execution, outlining safety advice, resources, material, tools and servicesWork closely with the CMC (Contractor Management Coordinator) to plan for contractor resource requirementsEnsure that jobs are planned in a timely manner to support the requested notification requirement datesEnsure job resources are obtained and orders are set to the ‘ready-to-schedule’ statusReview and purge the backlog on a weekly basis, and distributing the ‘ready-to-schedule’ backlog to their area of responsibilityClose out jobs by entering notification history and technically completing ordersReview completed shop papers and update the associated task lists and bills of materialIdentify & communicate/address repetitive equipment problems to Unit EngineerCreate and maintain Maintenance PlansTWIC card is requiredExcellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.CTG does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services for this role.To ApplyTo be considered, please apply directly to this requisition using the link provided.
