Technical:
1. Supervise Process Technologist in duties.
2. Identifies, monitors and analyzes KPIs for performance evaluation and continuous improvement of plant production processes with reference to safety, environment, quality, productivity and cost aspects.
3. Act as primary investigator and coordinator for Non-Conformance investigation, implement Corrective Actions, and track Action Items to completion.
4. Optimize and debottleneck existing processes using quantitative analysis techniques.
5. Supervise commissioning of new processes and existing process changes as outlined by the MOC/PHA requirements.
6. Initiate, participate Provide technical expertise during (MOC) Management of Change activities.
7. Initiate and Participate in Management Meetings regarding Production and Process Improvement.
8. With the Assistant Plant Supervisor create and maintain batch procedures.
9. Create training materials and coach Production personnel on new and existing technologies.
10. Initiate and Participate in PHA for required plant processes.
11. Participate in Process Incident Investigations as needed.
12. Participate in FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) as necessary.
13. Act as the communication conduit between R&D and Production.
14. Ensure all Environmental, Health and Safety goals/standards are met or exceeded.
15. Aid in the promotion of a safe work culture.
16. Submit Work Orders as required.
17. Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Environmental:
1. Ensure compliance in regulated portions of the plant as outlined by the Regulatory Compliance Manager.
2. Ensure new processes proactively identify compliance/regulatory issues before scale-up.
3. Handle product packaging and empty container management in compliance with established plant procedures.
Regulatory (Safety Measures):
1. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures during all production activities.
2. Participate in emergency response drills and activities, ensuring the readiness of the crew in case of unforeseen events.
