Engineering Drafter

Job Description The Substation Drafter supports the design of substation engineering projects. Primary ResponsibilitiesCreate electrical drawings for facilities, such as lighting systems, power systems, communications, security, and fire detection in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC)Develop entry-level drawings by using computer-aided design software under the direct supervision of other Electrical Technicians or EngineersDemonstrate knowledge of procedures for production of design developments and construction documents, and a thorough knowledge of engineering planning, drafting, and detailingPerform other duties as needed Required QualificationsBachelor's in Electrical EngineeringProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite3 years plus of professional experience with AutoCAD including electrical designAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must We offer a generous benefits package including company-paid medical insurance, paid holidays, 401k and paid time off (PTO)Upon a conditional job offer, a drug test and background check will be required.Compensation based on experience.
