We believe in collaboration, mutual respect, open communication, and opportunity for growth.ResponsibilitiesProvide engineering and analytical support to interface with various Government and Contractor organizationsReview specification documents and provide comments to the appropriate Navy Review Team (NRT) and/or Fleet Project TeamReport any computer program problem found during the development and maintenance of exercise scenarios, by submitting a Test Observation Report (TOR), Problem Report (PR), or an AEGIS Change Review Board (CRB) Computer Program Change Requests (CPCR) or Trouble Report (TR), as appropriateReview and provide comments for TORs and CPCR/TR to determine the impact on the development and maintenance of scenariosParticipate in meetings related to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of ACTS exercise scenariosPeriodically be required to provide on-site engineering support at the SCSTC, the SCSTC Detachments, Combat System Engineering Development Site (CSEDS), Moorestown, NJ, and Surface Combat System Center (SCSC), Wallops Island, VA, and the Advanced Atalanta Test and Integration Lab (AATIL), Dam Neck, VA to include but not limited to: Navy validation of scenarios, validation of lessons, and feedback and/or CPCR/TR analysisQualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in a related fieldRequired Skills/Abilities:Secret Clearance (Ability to obtain TS/SCI)Experience in computer program requirements definition, design, programming, and debug to include computer-based training applicationsExperience in the use of Learning Management Systems (LMS), SCORM, and Web multimedia development tools such as HTML 5Experience in creating software programs, e.g., games, computer-based education, military interactive courseware, desktop publishing, spreadsheets, client/server applications, multimedia, interactive multimedia instruction, Internet technology, distance learning, Simulations and virtual realityExperience in updating, repair, and modifying code and routines of existing software programsShall have basic understanding of AI Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL), and Large Language Model (LLM) fundamentalsExperience in sourcing, cleaning, labeling, and organizing vast amounts of data used to train AI models and ensure products from AI models function correctly, reliably, and ethically, including checking for accuracy, bias, robustness, and complianceSalary range (subject to experience and qualifications): $95,000-$115,000
