Organization Overview This opportunity is with a well-established regional healthcare organization serving communities across North Central Idaho and surrounding areas. The organization operates a full-service acute care hospital and provides comprehensive medical services through a network of primary care and specialty providers. The hospital is a 145-bed general acute care facility and a major regional referral center with a Level III Trauma Center . With more than 100 board-certified physicians and advanced practice providers across primary care and specialty disciplines, the organization is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative clinical environment. The pediatric department is well supported with experienced physicians, nursing staff, medical assistants, and administrative personnel, providing a stable and efficient outpatient care setting. Position Summary The organization is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Pediatrician to join its well-established outpatient pediatric clinic in Idaho. This opportunity is available due to the planned retirement of a long-standing pediatrician in late 2027 , allowing for a smooth transition into an established patient panel and respected practice. The role focuses on providing comprehensive pediatric care in an outpatient setting with a collaborative team of pediatricians and experienced support staff. Essential Responsibilities Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric care for infants, children, and adolescents Conduct routine well-child visits, preventive care, and management of acute and chronic pediatric conditions Manage an average patient volume of 25-30 patients per day Participate in a 1:6 call rotation Collaborate with a team of pediatricians, nursing staff, and medical assistants to ensure coordinated patient care Educate patients and families regarding child health, development, vaccinations, and preventive care Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system Participate in quality initiatives and team-based care programs Schedule Clinic Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Flexible schedule with 36 patient contact hours and 4 administrative hours per week Qualifications Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics Eligible for Idaho medical licensure and DEA with full prescriptive authority Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered pediatric care Compensation & Benefits Base salary starting at $250,000 plus wRVU production incentive or optional pure production model $50,000 sign-on bonus25+ days Paid Time Off$5,000 CME allowance$15,000 relocation assistanceStudent loan repayment assistance Comprehensive health benefits package 401(k) retirement planMedical malpractice insurance with tail coverageResidency stipend available Community Highlights Located in scenic North Central Idaho, the community sits at the confluence of two major rivers and serves as a regional hub for healthcare, commerce, and outdoor recreation.
