If you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where organization, problem-solving, and collaboration make a real impact, this is your opportunity.In this role, you’ll be at the center of operations—supporting Planning, Inventory, and Production to ensure everything runs smoothly from raw materials to finished goods.What You’ll DoAs a Production Control Clerk, you’ll play a critical role in keeping production on track and inventory accurate. You’ll coordinate across departments, manage materials, and ensure production orders are executed efficiently.Your Responsibilities Will IncludeCreating, releasing, and closing production orders to support customer and inventory demandsMonitoring raw material levels and initiating requisitions or RFQs as neededCoordinating with Purchasing and Inventory teams to maintain production flowStaging materials and components for production ordersManaging parts sent to outside processing, including tracking and receivingPerforming inventory cycle counts and maintaining inventory accuracySupporting Kanban systems for raw materials, WIP, and finished goodsEnsuring finished goods are properly moved and recorded in inventory systemsCommunicating effectively with internal teams and external vendorsThis role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing hands-on shop interaction with system-based inventory and planning work.Requirements: What We’re Looking ForWe’re seeking someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a manufacturing environment.Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (machine shop or fabrication preferred)Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, or material handlingAbility to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawingsStrong Excel skills, including working with formulasExcellent communication skills (in-person, phone, and email)Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilitiesPreferred QualificationsExperience with Kanban or Lean manufacturing systemsFamiliarity with ERP or inventory management systemsExperience coordinating outside processing or vendor-managed workflowsYour Work ScheduleMonday–Friday, day shiftConsistent schedule supporting work-life balanceWhat Makes You a Great FitYou’re detail-oriented and take pride in accuracyYou can manage multiple priorities and shifting deadlinesYou’re self-driven and able to work with minimal supervisionYou value teamwork and clear communicationYou’re committed to continuous improvement and Lean practicesWork EnvironmentYou’ll work in both office and manufacturing shop environments, with regular exposure to production areas.
