In thisrole, you will help shape tax strategies, strengthen quality and compliance, elevate clientexperience and develop a high‑performing team within Elevate’s national platform. You willwork alongside firm leadership and Elevate’s resources to drive sustainable growth and build abest‑in‑class practice.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Service & Technical ExcellenceDeliver exceptional tax advisory and compliance services to entrepreneurial businesses, family offices, and high-net-worth individualsOversee preparation of individual, partnership, trust and corporate tax filingsReview complex returnsServe as a trusted advisor offering guidance on complex tax issues, entity structuring, and planning opportunitiesRespond to client inquiries across income tax, franchise tax, sales/use tax, labor, benefits, and related compliance areasLeadership & Practice ManagementContribute to the management and growth of the Nashville tax practice, support oversight of the tax department’s financial performance, and collaborate with multi-office teams to provide effective leadership across locationsSupport practice expansion by deepening services with existing clients and developing new relationships throughout the Nashville marketRecruit, mentor, and inspire a high-performing tax team, fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented cultureOperational & Strategic ResponsibilitiesConduct tax and accounting research to ensure accurate and compliant reportingDevelop engagement budgets and pricing, assign staff workloads, and prepare internal reportsPartner with leadership across Elevate’s platform to unify processes, standardize quality, and leverage shared services, including data analytics, AI tools, and operational innovationQualificationsActive CPA license required10+ years of progressive business taxation experience, ideally with a Big 4, large national or leading regional firmProven success leading client engagement and driving practice growthStrong technical expertise across corporate, partnership, trusts, and individual taxationExcellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to build and maintain meaningful client relationshipsEstablished leadership experience with the ability to develop, mentor, and manage teamsEntrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, growth-focused environmentStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skillsCompensation & BenefitsCompensation for this role is based on experience and is aligned with market rates.
