Our culture is hands-on, entrepreneurial, and team-driven — everyone wears multiple hats, and every team member plays a direct role in the brand’s growth.Role DescriptionTequila de la Gente is seeking a Sales Representative based in the Greater Houston area to help grow distribution and build strong relationships with on-premise and off-premise accounts.This role is remote but requires the candidate to live in the Houston area and travel regularly throughout Houston and surrounding counties for sales meetings, tastings, events, and account support.The Sales Representative will be responsible for developing new accounts, maintaining existing relationships, supporting distributor partners, executing brand activations, and helping drive awareness of Tequila de la Gente in the market.This is a startup environment, so the ideal candidate is comfortable wearing many hats, working independently, and taking ownership of their territory.ResponsibilitiesDevelop new on-premise and off-premise accounts in the Houston marketMaintain relationships with existing customers and distributor partnersConduct tastings, trainings, and in-store / on-premise promotionsAttend events and brand activations as neededMeet sales goals and territory KPIsWork closely with the founders and team to execute growth strategyProvide market feedback and help identify new opportunitiesTravel regularly within Houston and surrounding countiesCulture FitWe are looking for someone who:Enjoys being in the field and meeting peopleTakes initiative and doesn’t wait to be told what to doIs comfortable in a startup environmentCan represent the brand professionally at events and accountsWants to grow with the company long-termQualificationsExperience in sales, account management, or brand development preferredStrong communication and relationship-building skillsSelf-motivated and comfortable working in a remote, startup environmentAbility to manage schedule independently and stay organizedWillingness to travel frequently within the Houston areaKnowledge of the spirits, beverage, or hospitality industry is a plusSpanish speaking is a plus, but not requiredBachelor’s degree preferred but not requiredThis role is ideal for someone who wants to grow with a fast-moving brand and have a direct impact on building a premium tequila company in Texas.
