Job Title: Litigation Legal AssistantLocation: Dallas, TXWork Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PMType of Employment: Direct HireCompensation: $90,000 – $95,000 annuallyBenefits: This position is eligible for a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, PTO, and retirement benefits.Job Description:Addison Group is partnering with our client to hire an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant for a fast-paced legal environment in Dallas, TX. This position supports attorneys handling complex litigation matters and requires a highly organized professional who thrives in a deadline-driven setting. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, experience with court filings, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate attorney calendars, including scheduling hearings, depositions, meetings, travel, and other litigation-related deadlines.Prepare, revise, and finalize legal documentation including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, discovery materials, and legal correspondence.File court documents electronically in both Texas state and federal courts while ensuring compliance with filing procedures and deadlines.Maintain and organize electronic case files and litigation records using document management systems.Support attorneys with trial preparation, case management, and administrative litigation tasks.Process expense reports, reimbursement requests, and other attorney-related administrative items.Assist with time entry, billing support, and client invoicing activities.Open and maintain new case matters while communicating professionally with clients, vendors, and internal departments.Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of assignments.Qualifications:Previous experience supporting attorneys in a litigation-focused legal environment.Familiarity with Texas state and federal court procedures and electronic filing systems.Strong proofreading, grammar, and document formatting abilities.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and legal document management platforms such as iManage.Ability to manage competing deadlines and work efficiently in a high-volume setting.Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.Typing speed of 80+ WPM preferred.Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, and exercise sound judgment with minimal oversight.Experience with billing support and attorney time entry is preferred.Knowledge of appellate filings and software such as Best Authority is a plus.Flexibility to work additional hours when needed to support case deadlines and trial preparation.Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
