Here, you will make an impact by:Leading the architecture, technical design, and delivery of complex, multi-cloud Salesforce solutions within a global enterprise environmentDesigning scalable, secure, and high-performing configurations, customizations, integrations, and automation across the Salesforce platformTranslating business requirements into robust technical architectures and guiding teams through solution implementationProviding subject matter expertise on Salesforce capabilities, integration patterns, governance standards, and best practicesPartnering with global onsite and offsite teams on build, deployment, environment strategy, and operational supportTroubleshooting complex technical issues and driving long-term resolution and platform stabilityYour Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)Eight (8) years of combined IT experience, including advanced Salesforce engineering, architecture, or functional work in a private, public, government, or military environmentFive (5) years of advanced Salesforce development or architecture experience in a private, public, government, or military environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Deep understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, limitations, data models, security, and API frameworksStrong technical foundation including advanced structured programming (Apex, LWC, Force.com), integration patterns, and relational database designExperience with enterprise integration technologies such as REST, SOAP, MQ, or middleware platformsMaster's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related technical discipline from an accredited institutionExperience driving technical alignment across large global organizationsStrong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage high-priority tasks effectivelySalesforce architect or advanced developer certificationsWork location:Work location: This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week in Maplewood, MN or Austin, TX locations.Travel: May include up to 15% domestic/internationalRelocation Assistance: Is not authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
