Seeking Summer Youth Program Assistant to join our Lockport Corps Our Seasonal opportunities offer Sick timeScope And Purpose Of PositionTo assist the youth ministries coordinator in implementing the summer program including day camp, VBS, Carnival, and Camp Long Point.ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Assist the Youth Ministries Coordinator in running the daily operations summer programing including day camp, vacation bible school, carnival and Long Point Camp preparations. Maintain a safe environment for children and volunteers Instruct children in religious curriculum, sports and recreational activities, crafts, music, games, and other activities Maintain communication with Officers, volunteers, staff, parents and community members encouraging their involvement and feedback on program activities. Maintain daily records including Salvation Army Statistics and SFSP requirements.
