Composite Technician

Here are the job position details for your review: Job Title: Composite Technician Pay Rate: $34 to $37/HR Duration: 12 months Location: Goleta, CA Work Schedule: 9x80 1st Shift – 6:00 am – 3:30 pm M-Th 1st Shift – 6:00 am – 2:30 pm (Working every other Friday) We are looking for a Composite Technician. Bond, prep, and bonding of composite structures to metallic fittings. Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct online adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Handling and managing fragile composite materials. Tooling preparation and release application. Utilize measurement tools such as calipers, rulers, and tape measures for fabricating hardware. Reading and understanding manufacturing blueprints and shop planning Assist in maintaining overall shop appearance and cleanliness. High school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of additional education and/or related experience for this position.
