Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Dickinson, ND Agency: Mindlance Health Pay: $2,146 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/27/2026 About the Position ID: 75114095 Shift: 12H Nights Nights, Weekends/Holidays as needed, first to float Description: Unit : ICU RN*Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS & TNCC / TCAR / or experience with the care of trauma patients*NO CLINICAL INVOLVEMENT- of Beds: 4- Ratios: 1:2-3 depending on acuity- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: DKA, sepsis pts, respiratory failure, cardiac(rate and rhythm control), medical detox, art lines, CVP- Are RNs required to titrate drips?: Yes- Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Those typical to an ICU- Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment?: No- ER is in charge of ICU- Are there nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit? Ratios? Duties?: No- RT Equipment (Vents, Cpap, BiPap, High Flow, etc.) Are RNs required to do anything with these besides trouble shoot?: Nasal cannula to vent- Are there Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit? Are RNs required to read their own strips? What brand are the tele monitors?: RN required to read and interpret- Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?): 7-7 // director makes schedule- Weekend Requirements: Will work where there is a need- Holiday Requirements: Will work where there is a need- Floating Requirements: MS or ER (for 1:1)- Scrub Color: Navy- How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation?: 3- 12 hour shifts- Additional Notes: Attributes that make a nurse successful in this unit include coachability, motivation, ability to understand and coach unsafe situations, and team workRadius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract).
