The Hospice Supervisor position is open in our Ontario location and surrounding areas. This is a Full-time position.
Requirements of the Hospice Supervisor:
RN degree from an accredited school. Valid California RN license.
Minimum of 3 years nursing experience required. Hospice and/or oncology experience preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience preferred. An equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered.
Hospice Supervisor Duties Include:
Demonstrate support and fulfillment of the agency’s mission, vision, values.
Implements and monitors agency initiatives to achieve strategic goals.
Communicates, collaborates and coordinates in a positive and professional manner with all peers, leaders and staff. Cooperates with all departments by sharing information as requested or needed in a timely manner.
Supports a healthy work environment by promoting effective communication, collaboration, cooperation, and conflict resolution with all departments and all levels of staff.
Supervises the day-to-day clinical activities of designated employees ensuring continuity, and high-quality care, including, but not limited to, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and adjusting schedules, as appropriate.
Assesses staffing patterns to determine scheduling of patients, on a daily basis, to ensure continuity of care and staff productivity.
Answers incoming phone calls related to hospice operations and ensures consistent follow through and customer satisfaction.
