Unarmed Security Guard

A/A Safety Security Consultants is seeking a vigilant, dependable, and hardworking Unarmed Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of assigned properties, staff, and visitors. This role requires active patrol, site monitoring, surveillance, and detailed reporting. Guards will patrol on foot and by golf cart and must be able to work independently while maintaining constant communication with supervisors. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a secure environment. Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is highly valued. THE HOURS/SHIFTS FOR THIS JOB GOES AS FOLLOWS DAY: 8AM-8PM NIGHT: 8PM-8AM *THESE ARE 12 HOUR SHIFTS AND WE ARE NOT ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE/ OFFER ANY SHIFTS BESIDES THE TWO LISTED ABOVE* Responsibilities Conduct regular site patrols on foot and by golf cart Monitor property, buildings, and surrounding areas for safety and security concerns Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity or security breaches Control access points by verifying credentials and managing visitor check-ins Observe, deter, and report suspicious activity, theft, vandalism, or safety hazards Respond promptly and professionally to alarms, incidents, or emergencies Enforce property rules and post orders while maintaining a professional demeanor Complete daily activity reports and detailed incident reports accurately and on time Report all activity, incidents, and concerns to supervisors Assist with loss prevention efforts Provide first aid or CPR when necessary and respond to medical emergencies Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services when required Maintain clear and professional communication with team members and supervisors Requirements Valid Guard Card is required Ability to work 12-hour shifts including day or night shifts Ability to walk, stand, and patrol for extended periods of time Must pass a background check Must be dependable, punctual, and a hard worker Strong observation, communication, and conflict management skills Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations Ability to follow instructions, post orders, and company procedures Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military service Knowledge of CCTV and surveillance systems Experience completing written reports First aid or CPR certification preferred but not required; training may be provided Ability to work independently and as part of a team Work Environment Indoor and outdoor patrol assignments Walking patrols and golf cart patrols Daytime and nighttime shifts available This role is vital in safeguarding facilities and ensuring a secure atmosphere for all occupants.
